This week's show is called back to basics because with the low, low prices of computers these days there are a lot of people out there either buying their first computer, or their first computer in this millenium! We are going to give you a little primer and try and simplify all the numbers that you are going to see in the store.
The next piece of the puzzle, let's figure out what type of display you are going to need. With the CRT monitor going the way of the Dodo, you are most likely going to purchase and LCD Display. This is an item not to be overlooked or skimped on, you are going to spend many hours looking at your display so it is important to get one that suits your needs.
We are also going to look at the benefits of choosing a notebook or laptop computer even if travelling is not your primary use for it, this is going to be a fun show, don't miss it!

Was hoping to see this, but the flash symbol in centre of screen just kept turning. Could you help me with this as I am confused on processor speed and want to make sure I purchase my next laptop with a lot of speed. Enjoy your show, Tim
