iLife '06

Season 4, Episode 25
Original air date: 03/05/2006

Core Duo

Steve can hardly contain himself extolling the virtues of Apple’s new Core Duo iMac with Intel inside. iLife ’06, its suite of integrated media tools such as iWeb, iTunes and Garageband, allows you to share the media that Apple has always helped you create and manage. Have fun creating a photocast for family and friends with your favourite digital photos, recording a podcast with sound effects and music, then publishing them to a web site – while the iMac does all the work crunching html in the background.

Video Eyewear

Caroline may be seeing the future with Digital Video Eyewear from Icuiti. Watch movies on a video iPod, notebook computer or portable DVD player in privacy and even in 3D. She’ll also give you tips on tracking changes to collaborative documents in Microsoft Word.

Hi Dottotech,
Will you be allowing downloading of Seasons 3 & 4 any time soon. I am keenly interested in learning more about Mac products.
I am currently using Windows XP but am considering possibly getting a Mac notebook.
Yours truly,
Brian Scott

Hi Fraser,
I have tried to watch Season 4, episode 25 " iLife"
but it won't open.
When I click on the tab to open it the centre wheel just keeps spinning and nothing happens.
Can you help me?
Thanks,
Brian Scott

Season 4

Hi Dotto Tech,
Why do you not allow viewing of Season 4?
It appears on the right side bar of your page of seasons. But the episodes are not available.

Brian

They're not allowing the viewing of Seasons 3 & 4 because PodCast (an Apple site) LOST the show (most likely to a virus but an Apple site would never admit to that) and they were down at least a week before Fraser told you the last time how to access them. DottoTech needs to rehost them but in 2 1/2 months they haven't done anything. I really think the shows will never be rehosted. As for Mac products and using their OS, I'd really look close into that. Macs built part of their rep on the fact they don't get viruses. The research I've been doing has shown, the more popular the Mac gets, the more they are becoming targeted by virus makers. (20 years ago 90% of the world used Windows so Windows was the prime target for viruses) now that Macs are expanding their market so the viruses are also expanding.
