Steve explains how you can use the Internet as our telephone service using VOIP, or voice over IP. If you haven’t thought of using the Internet as your telephone provider, this show might make you think again. Steve looks at services offered by Vonage, and shows you that you can have all the features of your current telephone provider, plus have all the freedom of checking your messages online from anywhere you have an Internet connection. With Vonage, you can also have a local number anywhere in Canada, United States or Over Seas.

Buying items on eBay can be frustrating if your item is being shipped to you. You have no real way of knowing how much it costs the seller to ship your package to you, and you never really know if you’re getting a good deal, or if you’re paying way too much. Canada Post has been working with eBay to come up with new tools to make shipping easier, and pricing more exact. Steve walks us through the new system, with discounted rates for eBay sellers, and postage labels you can print yourself with the “Ship-In-a-Click” service. Now you’ll know exactly what you’re paying, and you can make sure the deal you got on eBay is actually a deal.

Gamers better hold on tight because one of the coolest PCs on the planet is about to touch down. Canadian-based company Alienware lets you build your own custom gaming system. Steve takes us through the ins and outs of creating your own Alienware PC, from the video card, to the power supply, to the processor. Alienware definitely makes one mean machine.

Finally, Steve rocks out with the hottest game this season, Guitar Hero III. He shows you how to be a rock star, or just sound like one. You won’t want to be left out in the cold - turn up the heat and become a Guitar Hero.

On Tech Toys, Caroline transforms your home computer into an awesome arts and crafts studio. Fisher Price Digital Arts & Craft Studio has hundreds of creative kid-friendly tools; they can draw, paint, and stamp their way into the art history books, without the mess, and then even print out their masterpieces for a coveted spot on your fridge.
