Favorite iPhone Apps … For Now – Ask Dotto Tech #20

We are shaking it up a bit and going mobile. iPhone apps are the topic of Ask Dotto Tech #20. Sharing a few of our current favorite apps here at Dotto Tech, such a great idea from one of our viewers! Notice we said current, new apps are popping up daily, being updated and our needs constantly change in this world of technology, with that so does the usage of apps. That said, this may be something we occasionally do in the future for our viewers here at Dotto Tech. Let us know what you think.

YouTube Creator Studio App

If you are YouTube creator and have a mobile phone, this app is a must have. The YouTube Creator Studio app provides the ability to keep tabs on your account and can assist with your channel strategy, social promotion or management all on the go. Features: Comments – ability to respond to comments from viewers Analytics – Providing watch-time, viewers, estimated revenue, referral sources, and so much more. Now, not as in-depth as the desktop version, but you still get an overview of your current videos and performance. Multiple Accounts – it is very easy to toggle between different channels. Push Notifications – depending on the activity of your channel you may want to enable the notifications, if you get many comments, it could get a bit overwhelming.

Buffer App

Great content deserves to get shared, and the Buffer app allows for quick sharing of content that you create or find online. Buffer has a great plugin for the desktop and a powerful online scheduling platform, but the Buffer app for your mobile phone takes it a step further. The Buffer app allows you to schedule and share content directly from your mobile device as you come across it during your day, no matter where you are, how cool is that? Additionally, the analytics feature will showcase all the content you have shared, highlighting the shares that have performed well, you then can very quickly re-buffer those posts. The Buffer App is brilliant when it comes to Twitter. We all know how fast Twitter moves and sharing a valuable piece of content one time is not sufficient to reach your audience. Buffer takes the leg work out of analyzing your tweets and shows you which ones you should re-buffer. Simply click re-buffer and your content funnel is topped off with share-worthy content.

Slack

A solution for all of our fractured communications online. Slack provides a unified workspace that allows you to integrate instant messaging, file sharing, and more all with a pretty little bow. Taken straight from the Slack webpage, “Slack brings all your communication together in one place. It’s real-time messaging, archiving and search for modern teams”. For an in-depth look at Slack make sure to check out our previous Slack video but for now, it truly has simplified our communication as a team at Dotto Tech. Features such as group messaging, private messaging, drag and drop file sharing, tool integrations and a robust search feature are a reason to download slack and give it a shot for your team.
