Dotto Tech 112 - App Wednesday - Cool games, Self Improvement and Farting
As usual this App Wednesday was an outstanding show!
John Biehler reclaimed the crown of glory that has eluded him for the past several months. Reigning champ Connor Meakins brought some very cool apps to the table including the terrific personal improvement app, http://lift.do and Art Factora injected his usual mix of humor and practicality. But this show was a two horse race between David Hathaway and John. David hit some home runs with Dumb Ways to Die and Fatify (which includes the aformentioned fart feature). John however, had several solid contenders including the ultimate app of the week, Ingress.

Dispatch, the cream of the crop for iOS Mail
There are a lot of good email clients out there for the iPhone. Everyone of them seems to be an improvement over Apple's native email client, although that might change with the release of iOS 7. But until it is released to the masses, I will continue to use third-party email apps. My current app d'amore, Dispatch, if you use an iPhone, take 6 minutes and watch this demo, and thank me later!

Gmail Upgrades to Tabbed Email
Gmail has released an upgrade which changes the interface for your Gmail account fairly significantly. They are following on the heels of tabbed web browsing, which has proven to be a very effective way of navigating the web.
With a tabbed email client, Google sorts our email into one of up to four main subject headings. We don't have a tremendous amount of control over the sorting future, and we have no control at all over the subjects themselves, but it should serve to reduce information overload in your inbox.
